Photo: Boy Salutes Those Who Have Fallen On Memorial Day

A little boy (my cousin) honors those who have fallen to protect us all. Those who fought for freedoms of others who could not. Those who helped those who needed help and had no one else to go to. Those who gave up their lives for others.

This shot was on a misty day in San Francisco (like most days) near the veterans memorial cemetery in the presidio. The cloud and mist allowed the lighting conditions to be nearly perfect. The colors popped out well with out having to adjust the ISO or settings much. It was an easy point and shoot day. My cousin loved having his photo taken. We asked him to salute and he was perfect.
