Beach of Puerto Colombia Outside of Barranquilla

As I waited for Carnaval in Barranquilla, I would spend my evenings in Puerto Colombia, once a place where the wealthy had their beach homes and a center of commerce. Now a small village slowly growing to a summer home palace again.

This was taken at night to with a Neutral Density (ND8) to darken the light even more than the already setting sun was allow. This allowed for a long exposure shot to create a silky water and sky. I got to try out the new 100 ISO before but it created too much noise so I opted for the 200 native ISO on my OMD EM5. Cleaned up in Apple’s Aperture and NIK’s DFine.
